How to prepare Oolong  Tea

Oolong Tea being a semi fermented tea needs to be infused

for approximately 5-7 min for Formosa Oolong and 3-5min 

for Chinese Ti Kuan Yin.

Ordinary Oolong teas may be rinsed with cold water before

 infusion. This will flush away any dust and small tea 

particles. Use one heaped tea spoon per cup ( 1.5 to 2 grams ).

High quality Oolongs like Fancy, Choicest Oolongs or Ti Kuan Yin, 

do not require rinsing unless you are using up the last bits of your 

product. Always use cold water from your tap or water purifier 

( never preheated water ) and heat it to 100 degrees Celsius 

( boiling point ), then wait about 30 seconds and pour over

you leaves (95 degrees  Celsius).
